Meet Juniper

SOS! Meet Juniper, a 9 week old (2/16/24) puppy, who came last night. As you can see, this sweet girl has some significant neurological issues, and has since birth. From what we were told, there was a bit of a tragic accident towards the end of the pregnancy when dad jumped on mom, leading mom to have the babies a bit early.

Juniper cannot walk without being fully supported at this point, but she rolls to get around, and she sure tries to use her legs. She loves to eat, play with toys (she enjoys kicking cat balls with bells around), and get attention, but we need to get her help. Her foster is experienced with special needs animals and is starting water therapy at home, and we would love to get her a full support wheelchair, so she can continue to build strength and get around on her feet.

This girl has a will to live, and we are going to do everything we can to help her have a chance to live a good quality life. We don’t know what her future holds, but as long as she’s enjoying life and trying, we are going to fight with her. You can see videos of this sweeet girl on our face book page.

She will be seeing our vet asap, and we are expecting some significant medical bills for her.
