Meet Tink and Pety

Yesterday we lost another Forever senior baby. This is from her foster family. Thank you Linda Denning Miglio for taking such great care of these babies. RIP sweet Tink
We had to help our Yorkie, our forever foster Tink over the rainbow bridge today. She was 18 years old and we have had her 5 years. We took Tink and her brother Petey in to foster in Nov, 2017. The Vet that took care of them said that Tink was 13 and Petey was 11 at that time. They were so bonded that they would crawl in their bed with the other even though they had their own bed. Petey left us on May 14, 2020 and Tink lived for another two years. They were so much fun and Tink did OK after Petey passed away. Tink was blind but she adapted well and learned where her food was and where the walls were. She started going downhill suddenly yesterday. She wouldn’t eat or drink and she would pace and bark and howl like she was in pain. She started having seizures last night and was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t let her suffer any longer. It was hard to let her go but I know she is running with Petey and Jax our other pup that left us a few months ago. Please bear with me as I celebrate our time together with lots of pictures. I miss you my little blond girl, I don’t know who will keep my feet warm.

PUPDATE: Tink is still such a loving little girl, she is definitely my girl. She follows me around whenever I am home. She is 16 years old and still a feisty pup at times. She has done extremely well since losing her brother last year and I am honored to be her foster Mom.

Petey has a stage 5 heart murmur, his heart is enlarged and pushing against his trachea and he is showing signs of congestive heart failure.  Tink is showing early signs of Cushings due to their age and health they have become Forever Fosters. They will stay with their foster family for the rest of their life.

Tink and Pety are a adorable bonded pair that must be adopted together. They are super sweet and love to cuddle. They both need dentals. We did Tink’s blood work and she is showing early signs of cushings but she is acting normal and playing fine. If you would like to donate towards their care our pay pal is [email protected]
