Pupdate! Max is now ready for adoption. Here is what his foster parents have to say about him.
Maximus is now weighing 11lbs and he is the sweetest love bug. He loves chest scratchies, belly rubs and is a healthy eater. He loves rotisserie chicken especially but he only gets that as a treat. He loves to play chase with our Doberman and wrestles with our other small dog Rosie.
He takes treats and food very gently not snappy at all. He’s used to being in a kennel when we are away but doesn’t like it when we are home. He needs to work on more potty training, he’s getting better but still learning. He doesn’t know what to make of the leash and harness yet but will walk if gently led.
He’s never been around cats as far as I know but he’s great with other dogs big and small. He’s gentle with all people as young as 2 (we don’t have infants in our house).
He rode great in the car both times we took him to the vet and the groomer said he did great for her as well.
He’s going to make a great addition to anyone who has time for him he is a puppy and still loves play time and rough housing with his humans.
