Chewy recently had a dental cleaning and did great! He did have 12 teeth extracted and is feeling much better! We also have figured out chewys perfect insulin level and he’s such a good boy for his twice a day insulin injections. He really is so sweet and gentle. He’s great with kids of all ages and other dogs.  Chewy is 5-6 years old, 15 pounds, diabetic and full of love!
Please help us welcome our newest addition Chewy. Chewy has had a bit of a ruff life so far. He is only 4-5 years old and has already had at least 3 different owners. He was surrendered to us because he was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and as you can see he is in desperate need of a dental and he also has a umbilical hernia. He was also a knotted mess. We went and saw our vet yesterday and started him on insulin we will get all his blood results today.  Then his awesome foster mom took him home and cut off his huge knots. As you can see he didn’t seem to mind. He is a really sweet boy. Once we get him on the right track with his insulin he will get his shots, dental and hernia repaired. Watch for his updates.
