Luna is a beautiful 2 year old Chihuahua/Maltese mix who despite being partially paralyzed in her back legs due to an accident that happened just prior to her being surrendered to us, doesn’t slow her down, she is a feisty little girl with a lot to say. Luna came into rescue with many fleas, a body full of open sores and irritated skin, But after a few days of good care, flea medicine and yummy nutritious food, she was on her way to stardom!!!
Luna is very cautious when it comes to strangers and can be a little nippy towards them, and bark at them, but if you give her a chance, she will warm up and tell you a beautiful story with her amazing eyes!!! Once she feels comfortable, she will be your one and only.
Luna would do best in a home where her humans are there a lot, or can take her with them, as she loves to go on car rides. She gets separation anxiety when her humans leave, but when they come home, she is very excited and gives them much love and many doggy kisses.
